The rising trend has first been spotted on the Fall 2013 runways at Fendi, Miu Miu and other famous fashion labels and their fashion shows. Some call them the vamped up look, others refer to it as the gothic appeal but we’ve decided to stick to the wine stained pout. These deep Bordeaux lip colors have begun to flaunt themselves at a variety of famous make-up branded stores already. Women usually find it hard to carry such dark colors on the lips but, if done the right way, they are really simple to pull off.

Both, absolutely gorgeous ladies had everyone taken aback and simply mind blown by their cabernet and plum shades on the lips. Not only this but, Hollywood has been spotted with every celebrity wearing almost every version of this wine stained lip trend from matte to glossy to stains.
The best part about these wine stained lips is that they look absolutely fabulous with just about everything. They are bold and express your fashion statement in a manner that may have never been explored and expressed before. Red-wine stained lips with deep berry and purple or haughty, bold red hues are all in this season.
All these dark and wine-stained lips have seemed like they have been pulled out right from the Twilight series. Lips ranging from cherry to aubergine have heavily been spotted on the runways recently and they look extremely easily wearable. Some of the make-up experts from Dior, Givenchy and Lancome have stated that wine looks good on a number of skin tones which makes it rather easy to carry and pull off!
For all you fair skin ladies, try to pick out the deep, rich and haughty hues of red and berries. To ace the X-factor, oomph it up with lip gloss and highlight that pout!
