Ravindra Dwivedi, a Social activist has accused muscled movie icon Salman Khan who along with his bodyguard criminally intimidated him on a flight.
Dwivedi disclosed that when he boarded the Jet Airways flight from Delhi to Mumbai last year on 4th November 2014, the star actor and his bodyguard confronted him and tried to snatch important documents from Ravindra. The documents contained details regarding the death of BJP leader Gopinath Munde.
Upon this forceful act by Salman Khan, The activist had approached airport authorities and narrated the incident to them, in hopes that they would take action against Khan. Unfortunately, authorities turned a blind eye to his complaints.
Then Dwivedi approached Andheri Metropolitan magistrate to investigate this matter and asked the police officials who failed to register the complaint, to register an FIR under section 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) and 392 (Punishment for robbery) and even ordered the Airport officials to register the complaint at the earliest.
Salam Khan is already messed up for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run case as well as another legal trial pertaining to poaching.
Well Mr Khan , refused to buy the confessional statement given by Salman’s driver, clarifying that it was not the actor who was behind the wheel.
It remains to be seen if Salman will spend time behind bars or will the actor walk away from these charges. An impending trial will also expose the fact that whether these charges of assault, robbery are true or trumped up.
