Custom officials arrested Ayyan from Islamabad airport on March 14 allegedly for money laundering. The model was caught with $500,000 which she was allegedly smuggling to Dubai. As a result, she was sent on a 14-day judicial remand to Adiala jail.
Recently, Rawalpindi court on Tuesday ruled for the extension of supermodel Ayyan’s judicial remand till May 8. The reason behind the extension is that her life is in danger. The Police disclosed that Ayyan Ali’s life was in danger hence they have stepped up measures to beef up her security.
Ayyan’s lawyer also objected that the presented charge-sheet pertaining to her case was incomplete, whereby a complete map of the crime scene was not provided. There are two more suspects for the interrogation and that needs to be highlighted in the interim charge-sheet.
Despite of the problems being faced by the supermodel, she seemed relax and happy during this phase. Ayyan is looking so radiant with all this court procedures and also spotted i dressed simple plain white dress at every hearing. She is no more camera shy but she is photographed very confidently and put a big smile on her face. Her presence at the court has attached many people. People are scampering to have a look at her in reality. Three people, in a bid to get a closer glimpse of the model, tripped and fell over the stairs within the court’s complex.
Ayyan Ali has now been shifted to another room inside the prison where she will be conducting a meeting with her lawyer under the supervision of female police officials.
