It was a pleasure to be invited to a reception at the British High Commission to celebrate the birthday of the Queen Elizabeth II and Head of our Commonwealth. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the life of most inspirational woman who has devoted her life to the service of her nation. It was also good to meet with the High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr Thomas Drew, The Deputy High Commissioner Ms Elin Burns and introduce them to the work that we are doing in reviving Pakistani Cinema and learn more about the way that they are building bridges between our two countries.
