The magnificent event Pantene Bridal Couture Week held in Karachi on 10th May 2014. This mega event featured 20+ top fashion designers from Pakistan who showcased their bridal dresses. Lounges of different sponsors, media coverage, standees and banners with designer collections, changing images on digital backdrops, flower chandeliers and lightings has created tantalizing ambiance for the spectators. The enthusiastic audience has witnessed top-tier male and female model on a ramp in flaunting silhouettes.
Day 2, featured the renowned designer, Uzma Babar who is known for her ability to work with traditional work patterns, appliques and vibrant colors, merging them with an array of cuts, detailing, embroidered work and drapery. In Uzma Babar’s PBCW 2014 Collection couture pieces and works in traditional work patterns were commonly seen.
For the revival of the old crafts known for its heavy embellishments, the designer merges traditional work patterns with cuts n style. The show was produced by the in-house team of HUM Network, choreographed by the designer and choreographer extraordinaire HSY. The make-up and styling was done by Saba Ansari and her team at Sabs.
The event is powered by Telenor, its radio partner is FM106.2, and food partner BURGER KING and fragrance partner is Junaid Jamshed. PBCW is refreshed by Diet PEPSI. Faisal Farooqui and his team at Dragonfly along with in-house photographers Ahsan Qureshy and Haris Usmani are engaged for all official photography of the event. Day 2 at Pantene Bridal Couture week featured Uzma Baber Bridal collection with contemporary silhouettes that were sleek, feminine and chic.
