This season, Fashion Pakistan week & HUM network have brought forth Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week SS 2015. The event lasts for 4 consecutive days.
The extravaganza Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week SS 2015, Pakistan’s premiere fashion events, Day 4 took place on April 3rd , 2015 in Karachi.
The last day of TFPW brought Karachi’s fashion week to a close on a high. Sonya Battla started off the evening with a superb collection based on artist Naiza Khan’s work on Manora. Sonya can always be depended on not to be too literal. This collection used diffuse digital prints, frayed edges and braided ropes to great effect.
There were three looks from Sonya’s collection. Sonya utilized deconstruction and draping to play with silhouette, starting with a palette of sea green, sand and browns and moving to jewel-like tones.
This was collection that was both creative and appealing. It is always wonderful to see a designer portray an artistic vision that doesn’t detract from the aesthetic beauty of the clothes.
Ayesha Tammy Haq walked the ramp for Sonya. N-pro by Nabila and N-gents’ served as the official make up partners of the event. Hasan Sheryar Yasin (HSY) acted as the show director.
