FnkAsia Collection was dyed in tropical hues to mark an eye catching trend at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2013 Day 1. Labeled as “East of Bengal”, the collection was inspired by the lush rainforests, tree plantations and ancient culture of Bengal.
Fashion models clad in sari, jump suits, skirts and fluid floor length gowns in modern cuts gracefully walked the runway and exposed the layers of their silk garments with style. Some of the sari blouses and bustiers were imprinted with intense prints and had embroideries and beaded embellishment.
The color pallete also depicted Bengali forest’s foliage and wild life with shades of sap green, rainwater blue, murjan (coral) and vermillion.
The showstopper for FnkAsiaCollection was the film actress and model Humaima Malick who was wearing a pretty shoulderless red gown.
All fashion models for FnkAsia Show at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week Day 1 were styled by the creative teams at Nabila.
