Fahad Hussayn at PFDC LOreal Paris Bridal Week 2013 Day 2

PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2013 – a platform that endeavors to define and present contemporary and traditional Pakistani Bridal fashion and make-up trends, fusing to create the ‘look’ for the bridal season 2013-2014.

The bridal ensembles in ‘The Great Mutiny’ portrayed a love story from the feudal lifestyle of the landed aristocracy in Awadh. The collection featured a range of intricate thread embroideries, metallic ribbon work, custom casted chain embroideries paired with traditional zardozi, gota and panni work in vintage finishes. The colour palette varied from subtle shades of nudes & gold to a mutiny of colour with constructed cuts & dramatic volumes that were paired with drapes and metal details.

L’Oréal Paris also created an exclusive make-up look in collaboration with PFDC member designer Fahad Hussayn on Day-2 of PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week in association with the participating Bridal Week style teams of Maram & Aabroo and Toni&Guy – Lahore and photography by Faisal Farooqui and his team at Dragonfly.

The late evening shows began with designer Fahad Hussayn, who showcased his labels fall/winter 2013 bridal collection titled The Great Mutiny at PFDC Loreal Paris Bridal Week.
