Unplugged hosted yet another live performance at Café Flo with the internationally acclaimed Komal Rizvi. Komal left the star-studded audience mesmerized with her awesome vocal ability, song selection and performance skills. The event was packed from beginning to end… people left dancing and singing to Lal meri Path and humming Power of Love to their Valentine of the evening. Komal took the musical journey from the 1970’s and slowly brought the entire audience to the most current hit English love ballads of 2015.
Unplugged, as a special surprise, was also privileged to host the soft launch of Komal Rizvi’s latest video ‘Beh Gaya’ which once again left the audience wanting more.
This abstract and artsy video was all about letting go of a love once lost a long time ago… of how one deals with this heart breaking loss with various emotions in time. Through every new door they open they hope to close the memories of what they feel ‘could’ve been’. And in the end the video shows going from a slowed horse going in viscous circles to the freedom of riding straight into acceptance and maturity.
This fabulous song is produced by Saad Sultan and its video directed by Azaan Sami Khan together with the fabulous photographic skills of MO Azmi, whereas the makeup artist is the dedicated Beenish Pervaiz with styling by the amazing Maheen Khan.
Lets not forget co-starring the multi-talented Ali Kazmi. The music video is a contemporary choreographed piece directed by the dance maestro Hasan Rizvi.
