The F.A.M.E. (Fashion and Music Extravaganza) was hosted by Beaconhouse Defence Campus Lahore. The two-day event was attended by schools and universities all over Lahore. Day 1 kicked off with a fashion show, famously dubbed ‘Runway Takedown’ by the management of the event. It was judged by only the most renowned names in the fashion industry: Model of the Year and spokesperson of L’Oreal Paris Mehreen Syed, the brilliant designer Ali Xeeshan and of course, the star male model Jahan-e-Khalid.
They were more than pleased to see the talent displayed by people of barely 20 years of age. The night concluded with Mehreen Syed and Jahan-e-Khalid wowing the crowd with their stunning ramp walks.
Day 2 of F.A.M.E. was all about music. Participants competed in the Individual Singing (Eastern/Western) categories, as well as the electrifying Battle of the Bands. The day saw a number of DJ and band performances by BDC’s own students and alumni, which had the crowd jumping on its feet. Once again, F.A.M.E. organizers made sure that only the best in the field of music would be there to make informed decisions about the winners. These were none other than the Bakshi Brothers (Aafi and Sherry Bakshi), Rizwan Anwer and Beaconhouse Defence Campus Lahore’s alumni Arsalan Hasan, a certified music producer and artist at Nescafe Basement season 3.
Beaconhouse A Level Campus Johar Town bagged numerous accolades, including the Best Band. They were eventually presented the Best Delegation award too. To cap off a fantastic two-day event, the F.A.M.E. management arranged a spine-tingling concert by the one and only Soch band.
Following the popular traditions, Beaconhouse Defence Campus (BDC) Lahore presents its first ever amalgamated fashion and music event 2015.
