Rajab Butt’s mother has spoken publicly about her son’s divorce controversy, her relationship with his former wife Eman Fatima and her emotions for her grandson Kivan Sultan.

Speaking to IM News, Rajab Butt’s mother shared her side of the story and addressed claims about her role in the breakdown of the marriage.
She said she still feels deeply attached to her grandson and “always misses Kivan Sultan.” According to her, the child remains close to her heart despite the separation between Rajab and Eman.
Rajab Butt’s mother also spoke about Eman Fatima, saying she does not understand what went wrong between the couple. She described Eman as a good girl and said there was no obvious reason, from her perspective, for the marriage to fall apart.
She claimed that Eman left the house when her baby was only 19 days old and “she never came back.” Rajab Butt’s mother said this situation was painful for the family because they had expected the relationship to continue and did not understand why matters reached this point.
Addressing allegations about her behavior toward Eman, she denied making her former daughter-in-law do household chores. She said she had never placed such responsibilities on Eman and could not understand what Eman might have disliked about the household.
She further said that any decision about Rajab Butt’s second marriage has been left to Allah. Her remarks suggested that the family has not taken a firm public position on when or whether Rajab should marry again.
The divorce controversy has remained a major topic among Rajab Butt’s followers, with many social media users discussing the roles of different family members. Rajab Butt’s mother, however, said she continues to stand by her son while also remembering the bond she once had with Eman and the love she feels for Kivan Sultan.
