The cafe trend has become so popular these days especially in Lahore. We witness some great cafes now depending upon different tastes and for different age groups. Not only the food the ambiance of these cafes is simple outstanding. These cafes are a regular spot for teenagers, housewives for their kitty parties and also business for their meetings over a cup of coffee. Ze grill followed the same trend and recently opened its Art Cafe which is the first Art Cafe in Pakistan.
The special feature of this café is that different artists have displayed their paintings in the café. Along with paintings another interesting as well as entertaining feature is live music where various traditional musical instruments are played. The ambiance of the café is very artistic because of these special features. Barrister AitzazAhsan did the opening ceremony of this café along with the owner of Ijaz Art Gallery. Many artists were present at the opening ceremony. Lahore Art Council’s deputy director Zulfiqar Ahmad Zulfi, Zeba David was also present.
MichoSalahuddin who was present at the ceremony said that,” People now have developed a concept of live music and paintings. They prefer a nice atmosphere. Ceramics and graphic designers have also displayed their work. The food is also amazing and offers a great menu”.
Zeba David said that,” We love the idea of this café where everyone can sit together and have food as well as admire the paintings. Even if you don’t buy it you can at least appreciate art.”
The owner Mansoor said that he hoped people will like the food as well as the café. He also mentioned that people appreciate their food. It will be a very good combination of art and food.
Aitzaz Ahsan said that,” This concept should work, it has added to the culture of Lahore. He appreciated the café.
Lahore has a variety of one of the best cafes of the country. Every now and then there is a new cafe or restaurant is opening up. Pakistan’s first art cafe recently opened in Lahore. It is one of its own kinds and the only one in Pakistan.
