Pakistani Celebrities join hands for Flood victims

Pakistani Celebrities have proved that we don’t need the world to help poor victims of Flood rather our own country is enough to help them.

Celebrities including fashion designers, models, singers and cricketers joined hands on Saturday night and collected Rs. 300,000 in three hours through the celebrity camp at Mall of Lahore.

Dressed in white t-shirts and carrying boxes to collect donations, they urged people who came to shop at the mall to donate generously for the flood victims.

The brilliant idea was brought forward by fashion designer, Maria B, in which Music bands including Lal, Roxen, Noori, Falak and singers Ali Sher, Noman Javed and Umer Nabeel performed on the occasion. Singer Ali Azmat and Fareeha Pervaiz also showed up at the event and asked people to donate money.

In addition to collecting funds, some celebrities also put their belonging up for auction. A cricket ball belonging to Shoaib Akhtar was auctioned for Rs 50,000. A shirt by the bowler was sold for Rs 10,000 and Outfits by Maria B went for around Rs 40,000.

Fashion designers, Munib Nawaz, Ammar Belal, supermodel, Amina Haq and few others also put their outfits on sale and denoted the money for flood victims

The event was a free event, and it more aimed at raising awareness among people to empathize with poor country victims of flood and donated as much as possible for them. Moreover, it was not like concert because of Ramadan.

Pakistani celebrities have created another example to show the world that we are a Nation and together we can recreate a new hope and a new ray of life for the victims of the terrible natural disaster.
