Legendary TV, film and stage actor, Jameel Fakhri passed away at Mayo Hospital on Thursday after he was paralyzed and had other serious health issues.
The 67-year-old Fakhri, who was admitted to the hospital on May 31, was in coma and was on the ventilator at the Intensive Care Unit, at the time of his death, and despite the best efforts of the doctors, he couldn’t survive.
According to his family, the actor was in deep distress and unable to control himself after his son, Ali Ayaz Fakhri, was kidnapped and later killed in US.
Fakhri is widely known for his acting in dramas like Andhera Ujala, Aik Haqeeqat Aik Fasana, Alf Noon, Zakhira Andozi, Alif Lella, Aaj Ka Khel, Ureek, Jheel and Sehra Tere Pyas.
