Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal’s husband, Hamza Habib, has accused PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar of arranging shooters to target the couple, marking a serious escalation in their ongoing dispute.
Hamza made the allegation in a recent Instagram Story. He claimed that efforts were being made to have the couple killed after alleged attempts to turn people against them had failed.
“My life may be taken, but you will certainly face the consequences of your actions,” he wrote.
In the strongly worded post, Hamza accused Saqib Chadhar of being responsible for the alleged harassment and issued a warning to the Punjab lawmaker. He also used harsh language while referring to the MPA, whom he alleged had been harassing the couple.

Momina had earlier accused Saqib Chadhar of subjecting her to online harassment and cyberbullying. She also alleged that the lawmaker had threatened and blackmailed her.
Following her complaint, the NCCIA registered a case against the MPA under relevant provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act and the Pakistan Penal Code. The registration of a case represents the formal recording of allegations and does not by itself establish guilt.
Hamza’s latest statement has brought renewed attention to the controversy because it contains an allegation of a possible threat to life. However, details about the purported shooters, including their identities or any alleged arrangements, have not been made public.
