Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor has rejected rumours suggesting that he and his wife, Ayeza Khan, are heading towards divorce, describing the online reports as false.
Danish and Ayeza are regarded as one of Pakistan’s most prominent entertainment couples. Both actors have built successful careers and enjoy a large following across television and social media. Despite their demanding professional schedules, they have continued to balance their careers with raising their two children.
Speculation about their marriage surfaced unexpectedly after fans noticed Ayeza’s absence from the cinema screening of the final episode of Danish’s drama Humraahi. Her absence attracted attention because she had previously attended the premiere of his drama Sher.
Some social media users also pointed to Ayeza’s recent photographs and claimed that pictures featuring Danish had been removed from her account. These observations quickly led to rumours that the couple might be experiencing problems in their marriage. However, neither actor had made any announcement supporting the speculation.
Danish has now addressed the matter directly. Jang News contacted the actor and asked him to respond to the reports circulating online. He clearly denied the divorce rumours and said Ayeza Khan is his wife and the mother of his children.
The actor also said that some people cannot digest their happiness. He explained that both he and Ayeza are currently occupied with their respective professional commitments, which may be why they have not appeared together as frequently in public.
Danish clarified that the couple is too busy with work and family responsibilities to pay attention to false stories being shared about their relationship. He maintained that they are “very happy together” and dismissed the separation claims.
Ayeza had also previously responded to the speculation. The actress reportedly replied to a fan page and denied that she and Danish were getting divorced. Her response offered an early clarification, although discussions about the couple continued across social media.
The rumours appear to have been based largely on Ayeza’s absence from a public event and changes noticed by followers on her social media profile. No verified evidence of a separation has emerged.
Danish’s latest statement makes his position clear and reinforces Ayeza’s earlier denial. While both stars remain busy with their individual projects, they have rejected claims that their marriage is ending.
