The national flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)is in the process of bringing in cheerful and much needed enlivening changes to the services it offers to its travelling passengers. Target of course is to give the airline a new outlook.
For those of us who are enthusiastic about fashion, the changes of the wardrobe of service staff will be noticed more, especially the uniforms worn by airline cabin crew, including air hostesses and stewards. PIA cabin crew are going to adorn the new uniforms which are designed Nomi Ansari, a designer of fame. As for the scarfs, these have been made by Sania Maskatiya.
The Independence Day is the day when the crew will start wearing the sparkling new uniforms and the first flight will be the one flying from Islamabad to London.
It is expected that the new look will be glamourous indeed as PIA has travelled a long journey to reach this point.
