Walking into Fuchsia tonight one was greeted with a burst of sound, lights and laughter. A part of the 7Up Chef’s Bonanza,Fuchsia hosted Asian Chef Fazil who wowed the guests with his extensive and unique choices in menu. The elaborate 4 course meal began with a spicy yum chicken pot sticker soup followed by a difficult choice in starters.
Guests could choose between the crab and salmon cakes, the crispy fennel squid, the seafood rice paper rolls or the delicious beef carpaccio. The main course consisted of challenging choices between the sea food vermicelli “tom yum”, nasi lemak with spicy chicken rendang, the salmon laksa or the BBQ beef bibimbap. Guests could round off the evening with the savory sweet date wontons or the classic mango with sticky rice and coconut cream.
Guests, who had reserved, as well as those who walked in, were greeted by the friendly Fuchsia managers and thoroughly enjoyed their evening. Those who came in bigger groups were lucky as they could try and taste all dishes available on the menu.
Ever friendly Rosen Roy was present to ensure all guests walked away not only raving about the food but also wondering just how he pulled off his tricks. Gracing the evening was renowned drummer Sikandar Mufti along with his wife, and Tara Mahmood, who had come with her friends. It was indeed an energized evening with both the chef and magician managing to leave Fuchsia’s guests feeling happy and pleased with their night out.
