Ali Zafar’s new film Chashme Baddoor is already making headlines as one the most anticipated films of the summer. To keep the eager fans satiated, the production house recently decided to release some songs, the most recent of which is “Dhichkyaaon Doom Doom”.
Sung by Ali Zafar and Shreya Ghosal with lyrics by Nilesh Misra the new single off the sizzling hot soundtrack of Chashme Baddoor is already receiving great reviews from fans and critics alike.
Now, a further surprise for fans comes in the form of the newly released song’s video available for viewing on the Chashme Baddoor’s official Facebook page and other online platforms. This isn’t the first time that Ali Zafar has lent his musical talent to a film, but it is a hat trick indeed when any actor gets to picturize songs to his own vocal rendition.
The sheer girth and platform of the film can be estimated from this one video which is not only full of energy, but features Ali Zafar in a role that is sure to earn him critical acclaim. David Dhavan’s remake of Sai Paranjpe’s 1981 classic, Chashme Buddoor, in which Ali Zafar plays Farooque Shaikh’s character, is scheduled to release on April 5th, 2013. Cinema gurus are already anticipating a cinema sell-out run for this film. It certainly won’t come as a surprise seeing that Ali has an uncanny ability when it comes to choosing successful projects.
Says Ali, “When I saw the original Chashme Buddoor, I knew that the plot must retain its authenticity. Also, while it must have been a challenge to render it into modern times and aesthetics, David sir has done a brilliant job. It’s a family entertainer. I think we are all excited about it.”
“Dhichkyaaon Doom Doom” is quite a taste bit of morsel for audiences eagerly looking forward to see Ali Zafar in the lead role. HKC Entertainment is releasing the movie in Pakistan while Encyclomedia PR is handling its PR.
