Ayesha Khurram, the hot, funky label from Lahore which has been creating waves with her unique designs such as the Marilyn Monroe shirt and the Old Man shirt, is now becoming the designer of choice for celebrities such as Television star Sarwat Gillani and Hina Dilpazeer, easily one of the biggest names in television dramas.
Sarwat Gillani recently wore a stunning pink and orange outfit to the Timberland celebrating earth heroes function, where environmental heroes from all over Pakistan were recognized and awarded. Talking about she came across an Ayesha Khurram outfit, Sarwat Gillani said: “I visited one of the multibrand stores that Ayesha Khurram stocks at and was immediately impressed by her bold prints, colors and patterns.”
The soft-spoken, curly haired actress who is currently playing Haniya in the TV drama Mata-e-Jaan says she likes vibrant patterns and bright colors. “I am a big fan of colors and patterns, and I think Ayesha Khurram does a great job of combining fun shades with unique patterns and cuts.” The Ayesha Khurram outfit Sarwat Gillani wore was a pink and orange chiffon outfit with gold motifs embroidered on it. She accessorized the outfit with a gold chain and stilettos, leaving her curly hair open for a funky look.
Hina Dilpazeer, best known for being the star of Bulbulay, wore a stunning deep red Ayesha Khurram outfit embellished with a brooch on one side. An edge was added to the outfit with a jute belt tied around the waist, to make the outfit more stylish and trendy. “I am a big fan of bold colors so this red outfit by Ayesha Khurram immediately caught my eye,” said Hina Dilpazeer, when talking about why she chose the red outfit. “It’s a bright colorful and just perfect for the evening.”
Hina Dilpazeer wore the outfit to the launch of an Italian ice cream parlor Bellavita and said everyone was complimenting her on how great the red color was looking on her. “I generally wear simple clothes and I am not a big believer of heavy embellishments,” said Hina Dilpazeer, who said she was drawn to Ayesha Khurram due to her simple and minimal design aesthetic. “The clothes are simple and very effective.”
