“Shut up and get ur views from somewhere else”: Samiya Khan dismisses marriage rumours

Samiya Khan, the wife of Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali, has responded to speculation suggesting that the couple may be experiencing problems in their marriage.

She addressed the rumours by sharing an Instagram story featuring herself having dinner with Hasan. The couple appeared relaxed and in good spirits in the photograph, seemingly dismissing claims of tension between them.

Alongside the picture, Samiya issued a direct response to those discussing her personal life. She wrote, “Shut up and get ur views from somewhere else.”

Speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship began after Samiya posted a message criticising women who become involved with married men. Although she did not identify any individual or provide further context, the post prompted some social media users to connect it to their own marriages.

In the strongly worded message, Samiya wrote, “Shadi Shuda bacho ke baap se jo ladkia paiso ke liye relationship banati hai ye soch kar ki ek din Shayad ye admi unse shadi kar lega lanat hai aisi ladkio par [Shame on girls who form relationships with married fathers for money, thinking that one day this man might marry them].”

The online discussion intensified after users noticed changes to Samiya’s Instagram account. She deleted all the posts from her profile and unfollowed Hasan, actions that quickly drew attention and sparked further speculation about the status of their relationship.

However, Samiya followed Hasan again shortly afterwards. Neither she nor Hasan publicly explained why the posts were removed or why she had temporarily unfollowed him.

Despite the absence of any confirmed information, the social media activity generated widespread discussion, with users offering different theories about the couple’s marriage. Samiya’s latest Instagram story appears to be her clearest response to those claims, showing the pair spending time together while firmly asking people to stop speculating.

Hasan has not separately commented on the rumours or provided an explanation for the recent activity involving their Instagram accounts.

Hasan and Samiya married in Dubai in August 2019. Samiya, who is of Indian origin, works as a flight engineer. The couple has three children together: two daughters, Helena and Hazel, and a son named Hamdan.

The pair have occasionally shared glimpses of their family life on social media. However, the recent speculation appears to have been driven primarily by interpretations of Samiya’s posts and account activity rather than any public confirmation from the couple.

Her dinner photograph with Hasan and accompanying message have now served as a clear rejection of the online narrative surrounding their marriage.
