In many cases we have observe that spirit of Independence Day in younger generation has lost its charm. It is the duty of the elders to make sure that they make their children sit around them at Pakistan’s Independence Day on 14th August and listen to them. In order to make your Independence Day interesting rather than a bored one, here are some good ideas for Independence Day.

You can have a barbecue party in which you can have dishes like Shami Kababs, Behari kababs, Chicken Tikka and other delicious Pakistani foods that can charm your meal on this significant occasion. This party can be more interesting if held outdoors like at a local park so that the young and old can enjoy themselves. Furthermore, elaborate the importance of Pakistan’s Independence Day in a well arranged manner and to make your children aware of the importance of the Independence Day you must raise questions like: Why 14th August significant for Pakistan?

How the Muslims did give sacrifices for Pakistan movement so that 14th August became a reality? What does 14th august means for the Muslims living overseas? There can be a presentation of pictures and videos to grab the attention of the audience. The best thing you can do is to invite a relative who was there when Pakistan came into being. If they were young at that time then ask them what challenges they faced while growing up in Pakistan.

Once the presentation and lecture session is over, you can have fireworks if possible. National holiday without fireworks is meaningless. It will be a great fun for the family. In addition to that you can also put Flags of Pakistan all around your place and your vehicle to boost up your spirit and love for Pakistan. Be a Pakistani, act like a Pakistani.
