Actor and model Huma Saleem has accused an unnamed Pakistani cricketer of harassment, intimidation, emotional abuse and attempts to damage her reputation.
Saleem made the allegations in a detailed Instagram story but did not identify the cricketer. Her claims have not been independently verified, and no cricketer has publicly responded to the allegations so far.
She said she was speaking out during “a very unsettling time” and described the person as “a cheat fraud & womaniser.”
According to Saleem, the situation escalated on the day she published the post, despite having had no contact with the individual for two months.
“Today they crossed the limit by threatening & harassing me while I have been in no contact with him since 2 months & whenever i try to move on he always come back & disturbs me mentally,” she wrote.
Saleem said she would not have risked public scrutiny unless the situation had become unbearable.
“No woman can intentionally socially defame herself until the threshold exceeds,” she wrote.
She also alleged that the cricketer had misused money associated with the Pakistan Cricket Board and said she intended to release further details with the assistance of her legal team.
“I will expose this bloody cricketer that what they do in hotels with the PCB money in the recent times & this person will be exposed in coming days with my legal team,” she wrote.
The actor claimed that the alleged harassment had also targeted her family members and professional contacts.
“First they messaged me my family & my colleagues & when i have started my work they are trying to defame me professionally by messaging to my work related colleagues,” she wrote.
Saleem said the behaviour had continued during their relationship and alleged that the cricketer and his family were responsible for efforts to harm her reputation.
“I have been facing this harassment also while i was with him & this is all due to his family & himself & this is the most heinous thing to damage any person reputation though they have spend a time toghether,” she wrote.
She further described the relationship as abusive and said she had previously remained silent about her experience.
“I have been in an abusive relationship & still I never said anything but this time my threshold has exceeded & now its high time to expose this bloody cricketer,” she wrote.
Saleem concluded by disputing the individual’s alleged account of their relationship and said she would produce evidence through her legal representatives.
“Every story has other sides he only defame me in front of people he’s only cheats & he lies to everyone i will come with each n every proof with my legal team,” she wrote.
The identity of the cricketer remains unknown, and Saleem has not yet publicly released the evidence referenced in her post. No official statement has been issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board regarding the allegations.
