Sohai Ali Abro and husband delete wedding posts and unfollow each other

Pakistani actress Sohai Ali Abro has long been celebrated as one of the most versatile performers in the country’s entertainment industry. From critically acclaimed television dramas like Pyaray Afzal, Tanhai, and Saat Pardon Mein to blockbuster films such as Jawani Phir Nahi Ani and Motorcycle Girl, for which she took home the Lux Style Award for Best Film Actress, Sohai has built a career marked by range, consistency, and talent.

Audiences are currently praising her latest work in Hum TV’s ongoing drama Sirf Shabana, further cementing her status as one of Pakistan’s most in-demand actresses. But it is not her professional life that has tongues wagging right now. Fans and followers have begun to notice a series of telling signs on social media suggesting that all may not be well in her personal life.

Sohai married Shehzar Mohammad, son of former cricketer Sohaib Mohammad, in March 2021. The couple welcomed a daughter, Sashana Noreen Mohammad, and for a time, Sohai stepped back from the spotlight to focus on her family. She made her much-anticipated return to screens in 2024 with the drama Gentleman and has been on a remarkable run of successful projects ever since.

Throughout her marriage, Sohai had always been protective of her private life, sharing only occasional glimpses of her husband and daughter with her followers. That in itself raised no alarms. What has caught the attention of fans, however, is a pattern of social media activity or rather, inactivity that tells a more complicated story.

A closer look at Sohai’s Instagram reveals that her last post featuring Shehzar was a reel uploaded in November 2022. A Father’s Day reel dedicated to her husband was shared as recently as 2024, but nothing featuring him has appeared since. More strikingly, their official wedding posts have been removed from her profile entirely, though her Mayon ceremony pictures remain. Perhaps most telling of all, the couple is no longer following each other on Instagram.

Shehzar’s own social media paints a similar picture. Recent content on his profile shows no trace of Sohai. He did, however, share a video with their daughter Sashana, referring to her as his family, with no mention of his wife whatsoever.

Whether the couple has quietly separated or has simply made a mutual decision to draw a firm boundary between their public and private lives remains unclear. Neither Sohai nor Shehzar has addressed the speculation directly. For now, fans are left to read between the lines, and what those lines seem to suggest has set social media abuzz.
