Pakistani actress, host and singer Fiza Ali has found herself at the centre of a fresh controversy after a candid moment shared with her husband on live television sparked widespread criticism and she is now pushing back.
Fiza, who had already been in the spotlight during Ramadan for her popular show alongside Nabiha Ali Khan, made headlines earlier this year when she publicly announced her marriage to Ejaz Khan. The couple has since been openly enjoying their life together, but a recent appearance on Fiza’s own show sparked a social media storm.
During the live broadcast, Fiza candidly asked her husband whether he could lift her in his arms. He responded in the affirmative — and proceeded to do exactly that, picking her up completely in the air. Fiza and her daughter Faraal were both seen laughing during the moment, which was lighthearted in tone but quickly drew sharp reactions online.
