Pakistani digital creator Mujtaba Lakhani has broken his silence about his high-profile divorce from fellow TikToker Aiman Zaman, making a series of striking allegations in an emotional video that has since sparked widespread online conversation.
Lakhani and Zaman had been one of Pakistan’s most talked-about social media couples. The two first gained attention through their popular duet videos, with fans quick to speculate about a romantic connection. Those rumours were put to rest in February 2024 when the pair made their relationship official through a nikah ceremony.
However, the marriage was short-lived. In September 2025, the couple announced their divorce, a decision that drew significant backlash from fans who had closely followed their journey.
Since the split, Zaman has continued building her media career, while Lakhani has remained active in digital content creation. But in a recent TikTok video, Lakhani chose to speak candidly about what he says truly happened between them and his account was anything but straightforward.
“She kicked me out of her life. When she was nothing, I was everything for her,” he said. “She was focusing on her career, for which she left me. Career was everything for her. Now she is with someone else, it’s evident.”
Lakhani went further, suggesting that the betrayal had begun even before the marriage ended. “She even moved on during our relationship; I knew it,” he claimed. “There are many things to tell; it’s even shameful to tell that someone cheated on you and I really feel bad talking about the person I once lived with.”
Despite the pain he described, Lakhani was reflective rather than purely accusatory, at times turning the lens on himself. “I believe it was all my fault, maybe; boys are like that. I didn’t stop her from chasing her passion. I was supportive, even then she left. I laugh sometimes at what happened to me.”
He also echoed a question his own mother had raised. “Why did she do nikkah if she didn’t want to live with me? This is what my mother even asks me. I am clueless about why she left me.”
Aiman Zaman has not publicly responded to Lakhani’s claims. The video has reignited debate among fans, with opinions divided between sympathy for Lakhani and calls to hear Zaman’s side of the story before drawing conclusions.
