Sarah Omair, once a familiar face on Pakistani television, has returned to the spotlight with candid remarks about her personal and professional journey. She began her acting career at a young age, debuting on PTV with Thoda Sa Aasma in 2008.
Over the years, she built a strong portfolio with performances in dramas such as Roug, Dhol, Barh, Dhaani, Kathputli, and Maaye Nee. She also gained recognition after winning Desi Kuriyaan on ARY Digital.
Despite her rising fame, Sarah stepped away from the entertainment industry around 2014 following her marriage to director Mohsin Talat. The couple shares two sons, and for years, she maintained a low public profile.

In a recent appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, Sarah opened up about her life and revealed a noticeable shift in her perspective regarding her marriage. Throughout the conversation, she referred to Mohsin Talat warmly and avoided calling him her ex-husband.

Speaking about her relationship and its impact on her career, Sarah said, “I regret ignoring my husband’s career advice because, due to not taking it, I experienced setbacks in my career. Now I make sure to discuss all my roles with him.”
She also highlighted the deep bond she shares with him, stating, “I don’t have any friends in the industry except Mohsin. My true friend became my husband and the father of my kids.”
Reflecting on her emotional priorities, Sarah admitted, “I fear losing my relationships, be it with my parents, children, or husband. I fear losing my loved ones.”
During the podcast, she shared her broader views on gender roles, describing men as essential figures in a woman’s life. She noted that men often serve as caretakers and providers and suggested that leadership comes naturally to them.
Her recent statements stand in contrast to her earlier public disclosures. In the past, during an appearance on ARY Digital’s The Buzz, Sarah had spoken openly about her divorce and even revealed that she joined Tamasha as part of her healing process.
Now, her latest remarks suggest a renewed outlook on relationships and the role they have played in shaping both her personal life and professional decisions.
