Pakistani film industry’s former popular actress Khushboo Khan has spoken out about the circulating news regarding her divorce. The actress confirmed her separation from Arbaz Khan, accusing him of betrayal. Khushboo revealed that Arbaz “was everything” to her, but he failed to stand by her during difficult times.
“Whenever I needed him the most, he was not with me, and that made me very sad,” she said. Explaining further, Khushboo shared that there was no argument or fight between them, but Arbaz left suddenly without informing her and never returned. “It has been five years since he left, but even today, he lives in my memories,” she said.
The actress expressed her sorrow over not seeing him for so many years. “I don’t understand why he left us,” she added. Khushboo also said that she had always fulfilled her duties as a wife and homemaker.
“If I had only been a wife, I would have been a housewife, and Allah knows that when I was just a housewife, I fulfilled my responsibilities completely,” she stated.
She went on to mention that she continues to carry many responsibilities even today. “For the last six months, I have been at home, but no one has checked on me. No one even asked about my well-being,” Khushboo remarked.
According to her, both of her sons have been living with her for the past five years, while she and Arbaz are now officially separated. It is worth mentioning that Khushboo Khan and Arbaz Khan married in 2000, and together they have two sons.
