How to Use “A” Mode in Photography to Create Artistic Blur in Pictures?Taking pictures is a joy. There is so much that you can capture in a single picture, the emotions, the creation, the nature and the sheer delight of photography makes this not only a profession but a passion. But the thing is taking pictures is not an easy thing to do, especially taking pictures in the “A” mode.

This is a very crucial yet satisfying tool that will make your photographing skills amazing. It is actually a thing that people are dying to learn. You do not have to worry because here are some amazing tips that will help you with it.

Set The Mode And Learn The Lingo

First of all, you need to set the “A” mode on your camera before you begin. Every camera model is different and every company is different so it is better that you take out your handbook to guide you with that. After that you will need to learn the basic “A” mode language. For example, the F/Number will represent your lens’ focal length; remember that the larger number will always give you the smallest focal point.

Don’t Forget To Test The Lens

Every lens is different and you need to test it before you can take your shots. The cool thing is that every lens will give you a different result and you can actually use them at different times. There are some lenses that work magnificently in the morning and there are some lenses that will you absolutely breathtaking results in the night time.

Some lenses will have sharper edges while some will give you a foggy view, some lenses will have a light effect yet some will give you the dark- stored- in- the- depth view. So make sure you know which lens gives you what results.

Practice and Control the Depth of Your Lens

One thing that you have to do is practice, you just cannot ignore that. This is one thing that will make your pictures look fantastic and enthralling. Try different positions and different objects. Or better yet take a single object and try to take its pictures in the “A” mode from different angles, lenses and focal points. Also, you need to control the depth of your lens. If you go closer to the object then the depth will be shallower and if you are away from the other object then you will get more depth to your picture.

One last thing, you need to control the speed of the shutter. This is a helpful little trick that will help you enhance your picture quality. For example, the larger aperture will always require fast shutter speed, whereas smaller aperture will require a slower shutter. The slower aperture will get you an awesome blurred effect.

Always test your shots before you start doing the real deal. Also, you need to relax and enjoy because if you worry too much about the results then you will not be getting much out of your pictures other than just some random photos.
