It is a common belief that hair is the epitome of a woman’s beauty and in order to make her look and feel beautiful it needs to be nourished, pampered and the final look needs to be celebrated. So hats off to Sunsilk Pakistan for celebrating Pakistan’s first ever Hairstyling Day! A unique initiative taken by this brand, Sunsilk launched this digital campaign on the 1st of February, giving females all over Pakistan a platform to express themselves through their hair.
Running throughout the month of February, this digital campaign revolves around engaging Sunsilk’s female fans to indulge in the art of hairstyling and asks them to have fun with their hair and upload pictures of the end result in a Facebook Application. Friends are asked to vote for the participant and the maximum numbers of votes, when added to the judge’s panel votes (comprising of Sunsilk’s Hair Experts) leads us to the lucky winners who get a chance to win a designer dress, smart phones and other exciting gift hampers.
Sunsilk has also made voting possible on the one device that everyone has.. mobile! Hand in hand with Pring, Sunsilk has provided voting facilities to its fans through an SMS voting system.
So far, the response to this campaign has been phenomenal. With over 3,500 ladies submissions of trendy hairstyles, Sunsilk has generated encouraging results and has given the power of having great hair to the girl next door who just wants to have fun with her every day styles.
