Children are the buds of the society, which bloom in correspondence to the environment they grow in.
Behind the closed doors there is always an unsaid story. Ever seen a grown up so complicated, they become too hard to handle? Do you know the personalities of an individual start developing at a premature age? Do you know what powers penetrate the building of these personalities?

We will talk about the effects of domestic violence on children today. The adversities, the wrong doings and traces of evil that plagues the young fresh minds of these tender souls are a blessing of domestic violence, they witness as kids.
Studies have shown that 3-4 million children between the ages of 3-17 come under exposure to domestic violence as witnesses. 95% of the domestic violence is faced by women rather than the male counterparts. The children of these women are the witnesses of the domestic violence.
By witnessing it includes stages of witnessing including hearing, seeing, observing or feeling the tension in the house rose by domestic violence. These children become full of fear, anxiety and insecurity. They start losing their self-esteem and start to feel less on power and worth. These children feel unsafe all the time and always await an event as such in leaps.
With an atmosphere as such, children exposed to forms of battering, learn to abuse when they grow up. They learn to become defensive or more –than- required “un necessary submissive” with the patterns of such effects in life. These children suffer the worst emotion in their lives ‘Anger’. Growing up in anger destructs their personalities and abilities to behave well in society. These children suffer by rage, embarrassment and humiliation throughout their lives.
The children suffering the abuse live a life of isolation. They crave for kindness, approval, attention, warmth and love. Guilt, resentment and regret become a part of them; they start to feel they are responsible for bad things, those never committed by them.
Not only has this domestic violence affected their behavior in various ways. They start to pee in their beds out of anxiety and in many cases masturbate as per researches. Not only this, they also suffer from sleep deprivation, depression, aggression and anger. Often followed by physical issues like headaches, stomach aches, bedwetting, and loss in concentration.
Such a subject is an alarming situation for the children. It makes them suffer in context to health, education, power of making decisions and delays in development in speech and rational skills. These children fall short on performance.
Children who grow up in houses, in which domestic violence is dispensed in day to day form, lack behind in the healthy development nurturing. They when witness father’s abusing their mothers and accusing the mother’s ,on faults , develop a thing for believing in the father’s verdict and start to believe that mothers/ women are meant to be abused. They learn to disrespect their mothers.
Experts have views that children who are born in houses with domestic violence develop believes that violence is the ultimate solution in context to resolving conflicts, problems and issues. Such children have a greater danger towards, them, adopting bad habits like alcohol/drugs. Such children are raised in a very inhospitable environment that turns them out in criminals in future. This reason is also accountable for the answer ‘why children run away from their homes?
So, these are the disasters of domestic violence and its effects on children. Dear parents it is requested (Especially Fathers) to NOT commit action of abuse at home. Save your child from building up into a complex, complicated, abusive, and criminal minded human.
Give them a supporting / hospitable environment that would raise the sense of prosperity / security and fill their hearts with the warmth of love. Think about it, you and us as complete society, we all need to do that!
