Haunted-3D

Feel the real fear with India’s first ever stereoscopic 3D horror film, “Haunted-3D” that has also become one of the top grossing Bollywood films in 2011 generating US $576,639. Starring Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Tia Bajpai, Achint Kaur, Arif Zakaria and Sanjay Sharma; “Haunted-3D” is also India’s first horror movie shot in 3D format.

The best director of psycho-thriller Raaz, Vikram Bhatt is back after eight years with his more frightening and heart quivering film “Haunted-3D”. The movie is set in reclining Glen Manor, a haunted mansion located in dewy mountains of Koti. The mansion has a secret past and a ghosted present and is up for sale.

Entire story plot revolves around the mansion when Rehan (Mahakshay Chakraborty) steps into it as he is sent by his father who is in the real estate business. The very first night he bears some mysterious things going around. Suddenly he finds a dropped letter from a falling book that is written by Meera (Tia Bajpai). This letter narrates him a story from 1936 when Meera’s parents leave for Delhi and she remains alone with her nanny played by Achint Kaur. During Meera’s stay as alone a twist of story brings an evil spirit into the mansion that drives Meera to commit suicide.

After reading this letter Rehan feels sympathetic to Meera and helps her spirit to get rid of the evil spirit. As the story moves on, Rehan gets fierce and scary encounters with the evil spirit. He by changing fate finally saves Meera and again receives a letter telling him that Meera is happy now and haunted house remains no more haunted.

Haunted-3D is as impactful as the horror genre lover can think of. Even if it was not shot in 3D format, its deadly scenes and scary plot would keep one indulged.
