What comes to your mind when they ask you about the most annoying Pakistani Hosts? Without a doubt the famous sibling drama queens, the bimbo and the popular wanna-be couple, no? While these hosts are annoying over all, what’s absolutely unbearable about them is their puffed-up and overrate repute and hype. A person who likes them definitely has his mental faculties compromised, don’t you think? Let’s start with:
Amir Liaqat: Without any iota of doubt, Geo’s Amir Liaqat is everybody’s ‘unfavorite’ (he is so fake that only a fake word can describe him best). Seriously how can anyone like his made-up accent and that geometrically balanced beard (read: khatt in Urdu)? The guy oozes sanctimoniousness & fakeness so much so that you start hating yourself for watching him for more two minutes. You change the channel and land on… who? Miss Shahrukh Lodhi
Sahir Lodhi: Just as we are skeptic, the guy (?) himself is not sure of his gender. You switch the channel and land on Geo Entertainment where you see a clown singing, dancing, making terrible body moves, laughing, crying and acting at the same time in the same show – The Sahir Show.
Hmm… you muse… all in a one ticket… not bad. But as soon as the clock ticks 5 looOong minutes, your nerves start shrieking at the top of their voice for tolerating this sasti copy of Shahrukh Khan.
Shaista Wahidi: The famous doll of Geo TV who thinks the whole beauty of the world has concentrated into just one being – her. Well, true that she is pretty but it is so clear her show has ‘suck’ written all over it. She flaunts her wardrobe and her freshly colored hair. She may be a looker on the TV but her show clearly lacks substance and I do not see any reason other than her magnificent dressing why housewives and mothers glue to screen when she appears.
Nida Yasir: Miss-I-think-I-am-cool is a bimbo, period. She can’t speak properly and she is far from being eloquent and smart. I do not know who died and made her the queen of ARY’s Morning shows because seriously… Nida Yasir for a morning show? Dude, you gotta raise your standards and find a suitable substitute, pronto!
Hira Mani: Next up is the love bird couple who are in a dire need to brush up their hosting skills. Will someone please tell Hira that she needs to stop checking herself in the camera all the time? She is beautiful, all right, but she must focus on the show quality which is shockingly low for the most part.
Mani, it seems, attempts to outrun his wife in the talking speed which always results in arguments between the two. Tell you what guys; you look like two far-from-cute angry birds. Bring quality and constructiveness to your topic and we might pay a little more attention.
