Kamal Limited to launch their brand new lifestyle store "So Kamal " in Lahore[Lahore, 09 July 2012] Among Pakistan’s premier home textiles exporters, Kamal Limited is set to launch their first Pakistan based stand alone retail outlet with their brand new lifestyle store, So Kamal, on 17 July 2012. Indeed the launch follows the success of Kamal’s first domestic initiative with the now critically acclaimed Kamal Lawn by Élan, introduced earlier in 2012.

Situated at the renowned retail venue, 10 Q in Lahore, So Kamal will be bringing apparel and their export quality bed-linen together under one roof, with a vision to provide options that reflect style, comfort and individuality. To this end, the introduction of So Kamal was inspired by the team’s belief in making high-quality fabric retail friendly and available in Pakistan and not just in malls abroad.

With state of the art quality in cloth and printing and attention to detail in design, Kamal Limited bring to So Kamal their six decades of experience in textile manufacturing, having been established in 1950.

The So Kamal apparel line is headed by a young design team who introduce both a ready-to-wear and unstitched fabric with 30 different designs in multiple color variations in digital prints and embroidery. Inspired by floral and nature based patterns along with animal textures, bold motifs and geometrical patterns, So Kamal’s summer fashion collection ranges in color palettes from the more earthy tones to brighter hues of pinks, while and greens, perfect for the summer season.

With the ready-to-wear line, So Kamal further introduces detailed embroideries also in ready to wear and unstitched fabric. The prèt a porter collection draws inspiration from the Oriental tradition and includes boat necks, kimono sleeves, and draped/asymmetrical hemlines further accessorized with brochettes. A mix of digital prints and embroidery, the apparel line comes in pure quality chiffon, pure grip silk with Charmeuse borders.

So Kamal’s export quality bed-linen line is based in 100% cotton satin and 100% percale with a fine mute shine finish. With designs also inspired by floral art and geometric motifs, the bed-linen line comes in pastel colors combined with chalky neutrals– white, aqua, beige and pale gray are used together combined with silver & bronze. With 20 separate duvet designs in dyed embroidery and 7 in digital prints, the sheet sets comes in 10 distinct designs printed with embroidery.

On the launch of So Kamal, Erum Kamal, Director, Kamal Limited, said, “We at Kamal Limited strongly believe in quality and innovation. Kamal Lawn by Élan was our first endeavor to extend this ethos towards the Pakistani market and it was the success of this first venture that galvanized us to launch our first standalone retail outlet – So Kamal.  With So Kamal, we aim to provide a more enhanced retail experience bringing our export quality bed linen to customers as well as an extension of our fabric with our own in-house lines and designs. We will soon also be launching bedding for children, western wear for women and ready-to-wear Eastern apparel for Men, for Eid in August 2012.”
