Spa’s Cucumber Facial

Cucumbers are very good for all skin types. They have a natural soothing, cooling and bleaching affect. They are great for all skin types. (However, you should not rub them on damaged skin or you’ll get acid burn.) Because of cucumber’s soothing affect they are widely used for facials at spa. So, why not to give yourself a home spa cucumber facial. 

Get Ready For Facial
1. Wash your hands properly.
2. Wash and sterilise all the utensils and equipments such as bowls, whisk, spoons, cups etc with soap.
3. Cur cucumber in thin slices with a knife.
4. Take 1 tablespoon of almond flour, and a handful of rose petals.
5. Boil some water.
6. Tie your hair with a hair band or wear a shower cap.
7. Take some cotton pads, a face towel and 1 tablespoon of milk.

Let’s Do the Facial
1. Take a pair of cotton pads, dip into the milk and clean makeup off your face.
2. Wash your face with lots of water.
3. Mix rose water with the almond flour and use it as a scrub to cleanse your face.
4. Again, wash your face with lots of water.
5. Dry your face with towel.
6. Pour boiling water into the bowl of rose petals.
7. Take the steam from a safe distance and let it cleanse your face for 10 minutes.
8. Put the slices of cucumber all over your face.
9. Put one slice of cucumber over each eye.
10. Relax for 10 minutes then remove the cucumbers.
12. Wash your face with lots of water.
13. Dip 2 new cotton pads in the rose water and use it as a toner to clean your face further.

*Remember. For home spa facials, hygiene and cleanliness is very critical.
