Sania Mirza Opens Up for the First Time About Her Divorce from Shoaib Malik

Tennis star Sania Mirza spoke about the difficulties she faced after her divorce from her former husband, Shoaib Malik. She said that after the separation, she struggled with mental stress and anxiety attacks.

In a recent episode of her YouTube show, Sania said, “When I was about to go live for the show, my body was shaking and my heartbeat became uncontrollable. I was almost about to step away from the show. That’s when Farah Khan took time off from her film set and came to me. She told me, No matter what happens, you are going to do this show. Those words immediately gave me strength, and I was able to get ready.”

Talking about the challenges of being a single mother, Sania said, “I’ve had to rearrange everything from scratch. Travel, training, sleep. Even small things matter a lot now, like taking the kids to school and sticking to bedtime routines. It’s all really difficult, but I have to stay strong for my child.”

She added that after becoming a single mother, she tried to bring balance into her life. She continued her show and work alongside raising her children. “That period was really challenging, but the help and support from friends made me stronger.”

Sania Mirza said, “I want people to know that even after divorce and hard times, life can be rebuilt. Strength and support are always there. We just have to accept it and move forward.”
