Pakistani film star Ahsan Khan has found himself at the center of fan speculation after actress Laila shared emotional details about her first and only love during a recent appearance on the comedy talk show Mazaq Raat.
Laila, a well-known figure in Pakistan’s film industry, spoke candidly about her early years and the man she once loved deeply. She revealed that she was just 14 years old when she signed her first film and met a young man who had not yet started his acting career but would later become a major star.
“He came to me at a premiere and told me that I would be a big star someday,” Laila recalled. The two grew close, and their friendship soon turned into love. “He was the only man I ever loved,” she said, adding that her affection for him was sincere and that she never fell in love again.
Although Laila did not reveal the name of the man, her description sparked intense discussion among fans. Many believe she was referring to Ahsan Khan, one of Pakistan’s most popular actors, who also began his career around the same time and studied in the United Kingdom before returning to Pakistan to act in films.
Laila said that they even worked together in a movie, but their relationship ended because of misunderstandings within the film industry. “We were working on a project together, and suddenly I found out that I had been replaced by Nirma,” she said. “He didn’t say a word, but I don’t blame him. He was new, too.”
She added that she was the one who made the last call between them and that they never officially ended their relationship. “We never said it’s over. We just stopped talking,” she said softly.
After the breakup, Laila said she lost faith in love and never pursued another relationship. “I never married. First, I was too focused on work, and later, I lost many members of my family. Life kept throwing tragedies at me,” she said.
While Laila refrained from naming her former love, fans quickly took to social media to link her story to Ahsan Khan, citing similarities in timelines and career beginnings. Ahsan, who has not commented on the rumors, remains one of Pakistan’s most admired actors, known for his roles in hit dramas such as Udaari, Mere Humnasheen, and Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam.
