“Prove My Gold Is Fake”: TikToker Kashif Zameer Loses Rs1 Million Bet on Live TV

Kashif Zameer, the TikToker known for flaunting heavy gold chains and keeping a lion at home, has landed in yet another controversy after losing a Rs1 million bet on live television. The influencer appeared on a show hosted by Fizza Ali, where he confidently claimed his flashy jewelry was genuine—and promised to pay Rs1 million to anyone who could prove otherwise.

His challenge quickly backfired.

Fizza Ali decided to put the claim to the test and invited a jeweler onto the live broadcast to examine the chains. In front of the cameras, the jeweler conducted multiple tests and ultimately declared the gold fake. The verdict left Zameer stunned and the audience buzzing.

To reinforce his assessment, the jeweler made a bold counteroffer of his own. He told viewers that anyone who doubted his findings could take the jewelry to any jeweler for further verification. If his judgment turned out to be wrong, he vowed to pay Rs2 million.

Zameer, who owns the Chaudhry Group of Companies in Punjab, has long cultivated a persona built on opulence and influence. His social media accounts are filled with photos alongside politicians and other high-profile figures, helping him gain notoriety online. But the failed gold challenge is just the latest addition to his long track record of controversies.

His public troubles started gaining national attention in 2021 when the Lahore Crime Investigation Agency arrested him for allegedly defrauding Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan, best known for his role as Ertugrul Ghazi in Dirilis: Ertugrul. According to CIA DSP Mian Shafqat, Zameer issued a bogus cheque of Rs90 million in Engin’s name. The actor even submitted an online complaint requesting police action.

Since then, Zameer has been arrested several times. In April 2025, police took him into custody after a TikTok video went viral showing him handing a tray of money to a man wearing a Punjab Police uniform at a wedding. Authorities identified the man as driver constable Khurram Shahzad and accused Zameer of disrespecting the police force.

Just two months later, in June 2025, Lahore Police’s Crime Control Department arrested him again, this time along with 13 security guards for openly displaying weapons in public, violating local laws. Following public backlash, Zameer released an apology video expressing regret over his actions and acknowledging that he had gone too far.

But with the latest televised embarrassment, the spotlight is once again on the TikToker. What began as an attempt to show off his wealth ended with a jeweler calling out his expensive accessories as fake and Zameer losing Rs1 million in front of a live audience.
