Actor Kajal Aggarwal has spoken out after becoming the subject of a shocking death hoax that circulated widely on social media this week.
The 40-year-old star, who has worked extensively in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil cinema, reassured fans that she is alive and well. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Aggarwal directly addressed the rumors claiming she had died in a road accident.
“I’ve come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!), and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue. By the grace of god, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well,” the Singham actor wrote.
Aggarwal stressed that the hoax had no truth behind it and urged her fans to avoid spreading false information. “I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well,” she reiterated.
The actor also encouraged her followers to redirect their attention to more positive matters. She wrote that people should not waste their energy on false stories and instead focus on “positivity and truth.”
Her clarification came as relief to millions of fans across India and abroad, many of whom had expressed shock and confusion as the hoax gained traction online.
