Alizeh Shah Takes Aim at Saba Faisal and Nida Yasir Amid Ongoing Controversies

Actor Alizeh Shah has sparked fresh debate in Pakistan’s entertainment industry after publicly criticising senior figures Saba Faisal and Nida Yasir in a series of blunt Instagram posts. The Ehd-e-Wafa star did not mince words as she reacted to the recent controversies surrounding both celebrities, saying she felt vindicated seeing them face public backlash.

Alizeh first addressed Saba Faisal, who recently issued an apology after drawing criticism for comments suggesting that mothers-in-law should have control over their daughters-in-law’s wedding outfits. Referring to their professional history, Alizeh shared a pointed and sarcastic message.

“Sorry, Saba aunty, karma is a very bad thing. Even after doing two serials together, you didn’t find me natural. I hope now everything is clear to you,” she wrote.

The remark appeared to allude to past criticism from Faisal about Alizeh’s acting, adding a personal edge to the broader public controversy. Alizeh’s tone suggested long-standing resentment, now resurfacing as Faisal faces scrutiny for her remarks.

Alizeh then shifted her focus to television host Nida Yasir, who recently came under fire for making disparaging comments about food delivery riders. Yasir later apologised after the backlash intensified, but Alizeh’s response was sharp and direct.

“Nida aunty, you also learned this habit of not paying people their rightful money from Yasir uncle, right?” she wrote, referencing Nida’s husband, director Yasir Nawaz.

The actor went further, accusing Nida’s team of repeatedly inviting her onto talk shows without offering proper compensation. “And please don’t have your assistant repeatedly invite me to your two-penny show where artists don’t even get paid,” Alizeh added, escalating the confrontation and drawing attention to what she described as exploitative industry practices.

Alizeh wrapped up her comments with a blunt assessment of the situation, making her stance unmistakably clear. “So happy to see these so-called seniors getting what they deserve,” she declared.

The posts come amid renewed discussion of Alizeh’s strained relationships within the industry, particularly with Yasir Nawaz. In the past, Nawaz has spoken publicly about difficulties working with Alizeh on the television serial Mera Dil Mera Dushman. Nida Yasir also weighed in on a talk show at the time, saying that despite Nawaz typically getting along with everyone, there was a lack of chemistry when working with Alizeh.

Alizeh’s outspoken remarks have divided social media users. Some applauded her for challenging senior figures and speaking openly about power dynamics in the industry. Others, however, criticised her tone, arguing that while the issues raised may be valid, the confrontational approach was unnecessary.

As the debate continues, Alizeh’s comments have once again highlighted tensions between younger actors and industry veterans, as well as ongoing conversations about respect, accountability, and fair treatment within the entertainment world.
