Pakistani digital creator Mujtaba Lakhani has publicly spoken out about the breakdown of his marriage to fellow TikToker Aiman Zaman, offering a candid, emotionally charged account that has reignited conversation about one of social media’s most talked-about splits.
The two creators first captured public attention through their popular duet videos before tying the knot in 2024. However, the marriage was short-lived. In September 2025, the couple announced their divorce, a revelation that drew significant backlash from fans who had closely followed their journey.
Following the split, Aiman shifted her focus toward a media career, while Mujtaba continued his work as a digital content creator. Now, months later, Mujtaba has chosen to address the divorce directly and his words have not gone unnoticed.
In a TikTok video that has since spread widely, Mujtaba said, “She kicked me out of her life. When she was nothing, I was everything for her. Everyone knows my story. She was focusing on her career, for which she left me. Career was everything for her.”
Despite the evident pain in his account, Mujtaba stopped short of placing all the blame on Aiman. “I believe it was all my fault, maybe; boys are like that. I didn’t stop her from chasing her passion. I was supportive, even then she left,” he said, adding a moment of raw vulnerability: “I laugh sometimes at what happened to me.”
The questions he raised were ones he admitted he could not answer himself. “Why did she do nikkah if she didn’t want to live with me? This is what my mother even asks me. I am clueless about why she left me,” he said a line that resonated deeply with viewers and sparked a flood of responses online.
Aiman Zaman did not stay silent for long. Shortly after Mujtaba’s video began circulating, she posted a pointed Instagram story in Urdu: “Doosro Ko Gira Kar Khud Ko Hushiyar Na Samjho Jab Rab Girata Hai To Uthne Ke Laiq Nahi Chorta” a message widely interpreted as a direct response to her ex-husband’s claims.
The exchange has drawn fresh attention to a story many thought had already closed and judging by the public reaction, it is far from over.
