Ingredients:
250 gram Potatoes peeled and sliced
3 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Zeera)
2-3 whole dried red chilies or ½ teaspoon crushed chilies
1/8 teaspoon turmeric (Haldi) powder
½ teaspoon salt (according to taste)
Directions:
- Heat the oil and put Cumin seeds (Zeera), whole dried red chilies and fry till they turn golden brown.
- Add potatoes and the rest of the spices along with water.
- Cover and leave for 10-15 minutes on low heat till the potatoes are soft.
Serving: 2 Persons
Serve with Puri, Nan, Mint Sauce and Achar
