Even though the sponsors pulled out their sponsorships out of Kara Film Festival, the friends of Kara threw a “Fundraiser Party” to support this prestigious event. The party was sponsored by Creek Marina and organized by Club Catwalk (Catwalk Productions).The party took place at the Creek Marina construction site in Phase VIII of DHA Karachi, Creek Marina is the first and the only 6-star residence in Pakistan and designed by a world-renowned team of architects, interior designers and engineers to match and surpass the highest standards of luxury living found anywhere in the world.

Creek Marina has been designed to unrivalled standards of spatial planning, luxury finishes & facilities offered by other world-class residences in advanced cities like New York, London, Singapore, Hong Kong & Sydney.

 The party was themed on “Friday the 13th”. The ambiance was created by hanging body parts (Mannequins) from the building; through site crane with red paints on it to further enhance the environment and people enjoyed it till dawn.
 Catalyst not only effectively gathered friends of Kara to purchase the invitation but also provide all available contribution in terms of getting right people to make this event a huge success. 

 Nizamuddin provided décor, even the valet service contributed, Catwalk Productions managed the event, Catalyst did PR and Marketing, Fareed Virani provided Agha’s manpower, Coca Cola and Red Bull provided free beverages, student of Indus Valley made masks, Munna Mushtaq and Rizwan Ul Haq sent their people to capture the precious moments, and the list goes on.
Catwalk successfully managed to raise expected fund for Kara so they can continue to promote the art in Pakistan. Those who attended the party were, Tapu Javeri, Deepak Perwani, Adnan Siddqui, Jamil Baig, Afzaal, Mal, Nomi Ansari, Sanam Agha, Faisal Shah, Nazia Malik, Shallum Xavier, Fahad Chohtani, Feroz Virani, Ali Saleem and the friends of Kara.
