Launch of Jimmy Khan's debut single 'Pehla Pyar'

Pakistani’s fresh musician Jimmy Khan debut single ‘Pehla Pyar’ on April 8, 2011 at Cosa Nostra in Lahore. 

The launch was also attended by other musicians and media personalities including Ali Zafar, Mekaal Hasan, Fariha Pervez, Meesha Shafi, Farhan Albert, Ali Sher, Mahvish Waqar of Laal band and Sameer Shami; film maker Rizwan Saeed, stylists Natasha Saigol, Shammal Qureshi and Redah Misbah and restauranter Kamran Sheikh.

After the screening of the video, Jimmy Khan also sang ‘Pehla Pyar’ live with his band comprising of the accomplished Mahmood Rahman on bass guitar, drummer Fahad Khan and Jamal Rehman on lead guitar.

Speaking about the release of his debut single, Jimmy Khan said, “I am very excited to have taken this step towards making my future in music more of a profession and a career and not confine it to being a hobby. I am currently working on more songs with another release planned for the summer and an EP hopefully by the end of the year.”

Jimmy is Lahore based artist and has been an amature performer since the age of 14. Over time, he has opened concerts for Pakistani musical giants like Atif Aslam, Noori and EP. Besides, he is also a resident performer at Lahore’s famous restaurant ‘Gun Smoke’.

Directed by Saad Azhar, a graduate of the New York Film Academy, the video for ‘Pehla Pyar’ has been shot in high definition and the song is written by Jimmy himself.
