PFDC THE BOULEVARD organized an opening of their eagerly awaited Karachi store on 10th September 2009 at Park Towers. The show had an amalgamation of  designers who participated, namely, ASIFA & NABEEL, HSY, KARMA, LIBAS, MARIA .B, NICKIE N' NINA, RANO'S HERILOOMS, SAFIA ABBAS, SARA SALMAN, ZARA SHAHJAHAN and ZAINAB SAJID. The PFDC, C.E.O., Naila Bhatti and Maria. B especially flew down for this event. The opening of the boulevard was accompanied by a mini show of the various designers. The collection consisted of eastern, western and bridal wear. The colors were muted and soft, grey, pink, light blue, white and beige highlighted with embroidery of beads and stones. The make up and styling was done by Huma. The jewelry was done by Shafaq Habib. The photography was done by Mohsin Jaffery. The collection was modeled by Iraj, Fauzia, Koni, Rafia, Saima, Rati, Aamir Afzal and Bilal Zahoor.

The PFDC opened the boulevard in Lahore 2007. It was a huge success and it naturally followed by an opening g of the Karachi store. The PFDC has also had regular shows with its designers to promote them.

The PFDC will be holding the first Pakistan fashion week in Lahore in December. The PR was managed by Frieha Altaf at Catalyst (PR & Marketing Company).
