On the opening of the store and working with Sonya,
Kiran Aman said: “I believe that my
jewellery collections are an extension of my emotions; it’s my way of capturing a moment or a phase in my life and creating a powerful attachment to it by translating it into a timeless piece of jewellery. Through the launch of my boutique I look forward to making luxury more personal and meaningful to women. The choice of Sonya as a brand ambassador was very simple as I admire her as a woman and to me her work is intensely personal and focused on the individual woman, yet her sense of aesthetics is never imposing. I look forward to this journey where I believe the best is yet to come.”
Kiran’s emphasis for her brand is on that which is dynamic and each collection echoes a metamorphosis or growth. Manifestations of this are found in the 2007 ‘Revived’ collection by Kiran Fine Jewellery, whose conceptual philosophy explored the four states of a woman’s emotional journey; a philosophy that was published in a book entitled ‘Revived – The Journey Within’ applying this emotional state philosophy to 14 of Pakistan’s most influential fashion and design forces. In 2008, Kiran Fine Jewellery revealed the ‘Markings’ collection, a one off symbolic piece which signified the marks one leaves along the path of life. Kiran’s latest collection designed in 2010, ‘Time Scripts Man. Man Scripts Time’, blends the old with the new to present designs that provoke nostalgia while treading a modern edge.
