HSY Soars Over Asian Designers

Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, a.k.a HSY is a sparkling star of the Pakistan's fashion industry. This year, HSY has certainly made his mark overseas, since the success acquired from Abu Dhabi fashion week, at Harvey Nichols in Saudi Arabia and fashion shows in London, New York and Chicago. He is also the first ever Pakistani designer to merit features in popular international magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, IQ and OK.
Now, there’s good news for all HSY fans. HSY has been nominated for Asian Designer of the year at the Masala! Lifestyle awards in UAE. When congratulated on his nomination, HSY said that he wanted the world to know that Pakistan is not an extremist country in fact; it is a modest and progressive country.
