Abhijeet Sawant winning an Indian idol doesn’t mean you are a star!
It takes a lot of effort and hardwork to polish the talent that nature blesses you with but you, instead of polishing your musical talents, you are hitting at hottest singing sensation, Atif Aslam! not fair!
When asked, why Abhijeet has put his music career on the back burner, the one-hit wonder said, "There's a great deal of lobbying in the music industry. I go to music directors; they make tall claims and never revert. I have seen people who are not talented and yet get work because of their personal contacts."
On asking further, as to whom he is referring to, Abhijeet said, "Look at Atif Aslam, he's doing so many Bollywood songs, woh kaunse angle se playback singer ke category mein aata hai?"
He added, "I'm not saying this because he is from Pakistan. I'm saying this it proves that personal contacts matter, talent doesn't."
