Amidst the lawn war, that has taken Pakistani fashion industry with a storm; the arrival of the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2011, Lahore brings a breeze of fresh air and twist in the typical Pakistani summer fashion.
As the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week Lahore, kicks off on Tuesday, March 29 at Expo Center with a star-studded red carpet event, watch out for the young and enthusiastic wild designers as they unleash their eccentric collections.
Fashion designer Ali Xeeshan will be presenting his psychedelic prints and embroidered shawls reflecting local talent in a funkalicious way. Designer Akif Mehmood, who mesmerized the audience with his Kalash collection, will be dwelling more on fabrics this season then embroideries. Watch out for a distinguishing patchwork of fabrics and textures created by Akif to let you feel ‘Pakistan’ into your veins. And then there is designer Burhan Khan, who will be entertaining you with his post apocalyptic and futuristic lowers and jackets.
