Humayun Saeed’s flick, Daag, which will begin shooting in March 2011, is a real-life story of a rape victim.
The shooting was supposed to start earlier this year but has been postponed due to current flood conditions of Pakistan. Actor and Producer, Humayun delayed the shooting keeping in mind the safety of the crew from India.
Top singers like Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Noman Javiad will be giving the soundtrack for the film. No female artist has been announced yet.
The innocent beauty, Juggan Kazim was selected for the lead role but now she is replaced by a new comer.
“Shagufta Rafique and creative director Mahesh Bhatt sahib are looking out for a new face for the film that is why they are auditioning girls. According to them, Juggan is a pretty face but not a new one.” said Humayun.
